Today at 20:00, in the 6th round of the Asian zone qualifiers for the World Cup, the match between China and Japan will kick off at the Egret Sports Stadium in Xiamen.
Leading up to the game, a Chinese sports association handed out free T-shirts to all the fans attending the match. These T-shirts were printed with the words "China, 加油！" (China, go for it!) on them.
Currently, the Chinese team has won two consecutive games, accumulating 6 points along with Australia and Saudi Arabia. There are high expectations domestically for the Chinese team to qualify for the World Cup once again. It has been reported that around 600 media personnel have reserved their spots for interviews, and with a capacity of 60,000, the Egret Sports Stadium will be engulfed in a sea of red.
